

Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of Memories Funeral Directors, Port Alberni, BC. Ferguson; Allan Williams (Fergie) passed away with his family by his side on Monday, June 28, 2010 in the West Coast General Hospital at 83 years of age.
Predeceased by his wife Hazel (2008) and brothers Gordon, Robert and Donald, Allan is survived by his children: Robert, Roberta London (Dwight) and Barb Calabrese; step children: Bob (Arlene), Ted (Cindy), Pat (Tom), Bev (Murray), Jack (Kathy) and Doug (Patti); sisters: Gertrude (Jake), Jean and Marjorie as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Allan (AKA Fergie or the judge) spent most of his working life as a logger with Sproat Lake Division and retired in 1985. He loved spending time on his farm, whether puttering around, playing crib or just spending time with his family. He was known for his strength of character, wry, sarcastic wit and his contagious laughter. Al was also an avid sports fan and loved to watch the teams play whatever sport it was, but especially his beloved Bulldogs.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Chapel Of Memories, 4005-6th Avenue. Cremation has taken place.
