Allen Leo Werner

Went home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2011, with his family by his side. Allen was predeceased by his parents Leo and Louise Werner and his brother Melvin. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Trish Werner; children Daryl (Jill) Werner, Candice Werner; step children Jill (Jeremy) Russell, Blake and Brooke Biggs; grandchildren Ryder, Conner, and Haylie; siblings Carol (Mike) Hamilton, Ronnie (Tammy) Werner, Bobby Werner, Dolleen Schmunk, Elaine Penner (Michael Fortiner), and chosen brother, Doug (Flora) Fong; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Allen was born on June 14, 1951 in Port Alberni where he lived all of his sixty years. He cherished his family and the time he spent with them. Allen especially loved the outdoors – riding his motorbike, hunting, fishing, and just being out on the water. He made many friends through his various careers, volunteer positions in the community, and through his involvement in his church. Allen touched the lives of many people and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at Elim Tabernacle, 3946 Wallace Street, at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
