Mr. Bruce Gerald Davidson

Predeceased by parents Lillian and Charlie as well as brother, Fred.

Bruce is survived by best friend Marion; children, Bill Hiebert, Cheryl Hiebert, Joseph Davidson, and Janet (Curtis) Davidson; 6 grandchildren; Aunt and Uncle, Joe and Lea Gardner as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Port Alice, Bruce came to Port Alberni in the early 50’s, attending grade school. Bruce became a commercial salmon fisherman until he retired in the mid 80’s when he started his own business called Accu-Sharp. He ran this business for 5 years until he retired due to health issues. When not working Bruce was a member of the Ham Radio Operators club for over 20 years and in his younger years he enjoyed going hunting for moose and deer every year. His favourite movies were any of the James Bond series and he also liked watching westerns. Above all, Bruce was devoted to his children.

A Gathering will be held 1:00pm-3:00pm Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 5811 River Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation – Port Alberni, PO Box 255, Port Alberni, BC., V9Y 7M7.
