He then decided he would like to be self employed, starting his own sawmill, where he cut ties for the CPR railroad for a few years. Finally in the 60’s, Clayton decided to try his hand at carpentry, where he did that until he retired.
After his retirement, Clayton opened a second hand store on the corner of Beaver Ck & Compton. He loved the store and loved to see all of his family, friends and customers that would visit him there, greeting them with a big smile.
Clayton was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 18, 1975 in Victoria. He is now waiting for the new system and living forever on a Paradise Earth.
Billie and family would like to thank all for their love, comfort and support at this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 5055 Maebelle Rd, Port Alberni, BC.
