Coleen Hartmann

Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our wife, mother, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece, friend and big sis Coleen. Coleen Hartmann was born to Frank and Margaret on November 5, 1956 in Ontario. She passed away suddenly, in Port Alberni, BC., on January 13, 2023. Coleen is predeceased by her only son Gerry; brothers Brian and Claver and her parents Frank and Margaret. She is survived by her loving husband Ken of Port Alberni, BC., whom she met in 2019 and they married 6 months ago. Coleen came from a large family, 7 siblings in total. She was the third eldest child of eight. Danny (Sandra), Tammy (Greg), Cindy, Frank (Krisha), Darlene (Colin); stepfather Cecil and many nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family in Alberta, BC and the Yukon. Coleen was so happy when she met Ken. The smile on her face and sparkle in her eye was evident everyday. Thank you Ken, for giving her the happiness she so deserved. No service will be held at this time. there will be a 'Memorial Jam' for Coleen at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Coleen's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
