

Born on November 15, 1943, Eda was the beloved daughter of Bertha and Cajetan Haider. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of many years, John Kailer; her mother-in-law, Marion Kailer; her three brothers, Theodore, Raymond and Cajetan Haider; and her infant daughter who passed away shortly after birth.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren:
Son Neil (Christina) Kailer and their daughters, Julianna (Cole) and Brianna.

Daughter Leslie (Darcy) Kailer-Dore and their children, Jordan, Linden, Sara, and Ethan (Sheila)
Eda devoted her early years to being a stay-at-home mom, nurturing her young family with love and care. Later, she found joy working in various retail positions, where her warm personality and genuine love for people allowed her to connect with customers and colleagues alike. She truly thrived when surrounded by others.
Above all, Eda’s greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She shared deep, loving bonds with each of them and was a constant, supportive presence in their lives. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures- a trip to the casino or a warm cup of coffee from Tim Hortons - and expressed her creative spirit through painting and drawing, bringing beauty and joy to those around her.
Eda was a selfless and kind-hearted woman whose gentle spirit and generous nature touched the lives of everyone she met. Her love for her family was unwavering, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Service Details
A private funeral mass and burial will be held with immediate family only.
A celebration of life for both Eda and her beloved husband John Kailer will be held at a later date. As no service was held for John at the time of his passing, the family feels It is fitting to celebrate their lives together. Eda and John were forever soul mates who spent all their time together.
