Elio was a friend of my parents, Rino & Silvia, who shared many “bicere di vino” with him at the numerous house parties they attended. Elio loved to have fun with his Italian buddies, and had an infectious laugh. As a young girl, I remember him playing bocce with all the other Italian “bucks”, at our place. And those picnics! Singing folk songs from the homeland, clinking glasses, discussing strategic bocce moves - that generation sure knew how to have fun together! I’m sure he leaves a memorable, loving legacy for his children and grandchildren. My sincere condolences to the family.
