Elsie was born near Kennedy, Saskatchewan on December 3, 1932. She was the youngest of 6 children. Elsie met Bob Forbes and moved to Port Alberni in 1953. There they raised 4 children: Henry, Gerry, Deb, and Chris. Elsie was grandmother to Julia (Deb), Skye and Madi (Chris). Elsie was great grandmother to Kasten and Ellary (Madi).
Elsie was predeceased by her husband Bob, son Henry, and grand daughters Julia and Skye.
Elsie is survived by her children Gerry, Deb (Thor), and Chris (Charlene), daughter in law Kristeena, grand daughter Madi (Jacob) and great grandchildren Kasten and Ellary.
