Gale Anne Danyluk

Gale Danyluk passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital with Gerald, her loving husband at her side. As her soul left for a much better place, Gerald felt a pleasant puff of wind on his face, as she said good-bye.

Gale is predeceased by her parents Anne [Boyden] and Nick Peters and her youngest brother, Ricky. She leaves behind three brothers, a sister and her dear niece, Laura Jungenkruger. “Aunty,” as she was so fondly known helped raise four children: Todd and Rochelle Rooker, then Kylee and Jennifer Abrahamson. She loved and cared for them like they were her own.

After Gale's initial hospitalization in 2015, she defied the odds when told she had little time left and lived another 9 years. She was able to be present for many special occasions including Jennifer's wedding and meeting and loving each of Kylee's children.

Gale will forever be remembered for her unique and genuinely authentic personality, her generosity, her varied collections of treasures, and of course, her famous lipstick cheek kisses.
