It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father and opa, Giovanni (John) Antonio Bosma after a brave battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Gerard and Regina, and his brother Frederik. He is survived by his 4 sons Gerard (Melissa), Anthony (Elizabeth), Derek and Lucas (Alycia), as well his grandchildren Grayson, Mila, Xander, Luka, Viktor and Daisy. He is also survived by his sisters Vittoria (Gary) and Glenda (Frank), and sister-in-law Nella; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, the US and the Netherlands.
Dad was an artist at heart with the ability to pick up a brush, cut gems, or any instrument and create beautiful works of art. Dad also loved to go to garage sales, flea markets and second hand shops in search of interesting collectable items, and would proudly show off his finds to all visitors. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The Bosma family would like to thank Dr. Woodley, Home Care Nursing, the staff at West Coast General Hospital and Ty Watson House for their amazing care and kindness during this difficult time.
