Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, sisters Greta Pascuzzi, Tootsie Mercer and Jessie MacIntosh, Gladys is survived by her son Jack Scales (Lorna Paterson), sister Jean Benisky, grandchildren: Daryl Ralph, Mark Scales, Chris Scales, Jamie Scales, Tom Paterson, Rick Paterson, Mike Paterson and Bonnie Paterson as well as 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Gladys was devoted to her family, spending her working life at home caring for her family. In her later years she became involved in the Sunshine Club and especially enjoyed playing whisk.
