Harry was predeceased by his mother and father, wife Barbara, and sisters May, Alice and Phyllis. He is survived by his sister Ivy (Bill), brother Bob, daughter Lorna-Mae, son James, grandchildren Brandon and Connie; his favourite niece Diane (Anton) and many nieces and nephews.
He was born to Mary Hannah (Bodaly) Woodward and Cyril David Woodward in Langley Prairie, and he grew up in the Alberni Valley. He met and married Barbara in Edmonton in 1961, and then moved back to the valley in 1974. Harry loved to garden (especially growing tomatoes), curling, playing cribbage, dragon boating, and he always had a good corny joke to tell.
the Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, A April 19, 2015 @ 2:00pm at Cedar Grove Reformed Church, 4109 Kendall Avenue, at Wallace Street, Port Alberni, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, Diabetes Association or Echo Village.
