Isobel Milne Haider

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Isobel Haider, who passed peacefully at home on December 14, 2024, surrounded by the loving care of her family. She leaves behind her devoted children, Sharon, Roland, and Bradley, as well as her treasured grandchildren, Denise, Melissa, Cole, Nyla, Bryson, and Selena. Isobel is also survived by her dear sister, Joan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore Haider, and her son, Kenny.

Born on March 11, 1936 in Killam, Alberta, Isobel grew up as the middle child in the Patten family, part of a large and lively household of 13 siblings. Her early years in such a warm and bustling environment nurtured the strength, kindness, and generosity that defined her throughout her life.

Isobel will forever be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her radiant spirit, and the countless cherished memories she shared with those fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Isobel's remarkable life will be held on May 10th, 2025, in Port Alberni where family and friends are invited to gather in love and remembrance.
