Everyday, somewhere in the world, a life is lost. In the early morning hours of October 19th two dedicated paramedics had a terrible accident leading to their deaths in the line of duty. Jo-Ann Fuller was one of the veteran paramedics lost in this accident. Jo-Ann was a passionate paramedic who died doing what she loved. She was a 23 year veteran of the B.C. Ambulance Service and Unit Chief of Station 136K in Tofino, B.C. Her passion for her job was one of many. She cherished her family, daughters; Angela, Jami, and Lindsey;her husband, Brian; Her brother, Robert, and his family;and her special ten month old grandson, James. She was the matriarch of the family and the glue that held everything together. If anyone needed help in anyway, whether saving a life or just giving a hug, Jo-Ann was always the first one there. There are no words to describe what her loss will mean to her family, friends, community, and the B.C. Ambulance Service. You are always in our hearts.
