Juergen Max Foehse

Juergen was predeceased in December, 2006 by Agnes, his wife of 54 years and earlier by his parents in his homeland of Germany.

Juergen is survived by his five children: Elvyra, Ilona (Carey), Monika (Rob), Barb (Ed) and Karl (Anna), his grandchildren: Kris, Ryner (Erin), Tennille (Robert), Justene (Lyle), Anthony, Mariah, Savanna and Kyle; great grandchildren: Charlotte, Kyra and Kayden. Papa is mourned in his homeland, by his Onkel Gunther and Tante Anni, sister Marianna, brothers Karlheinz and Rolf and their families. He also leaves behind his Babe (Priscilla) with whom he joyfully shared his final two years, regrettably not longer.

Yogi very much appreciated his employment at Alpulp. He was a carpenter by trade, hard working and amazingly ambitious. He was proud of the many homes he worked on in the Valley as well as building his townhouse complex and helping his children with their homes. To Dad family always came first. We especially enjoyed his stories of his younger years in Germany. Dad’s many passions included fishing, gardening, making wine, the stock market, watching the Canucks and his daily morning walk around Port Alberni. We admired him like no other.

Please come celebrate Juergen’s life between 11:30 – 2:30 on Saturday, November 6 at the Italian Hall on 6th Avenue, lower level.
