Our dad was a man with strong convictions. He wanted everyone to know about Jehovah God and what a grand future there is for everyone. In fact, that was what he was doing on the day he passed away, getting ready to do the ministry work. He was baptized on March 12, 1950 to his God Jehovah in Parksville and served Him faithfully alongside his cherished wife until her passing away in 2003. His fine example of zeal tempered with love was the gift all four children Charlene, Naomi, Jim and June have received. Dad lived to see three generations; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren taking steps to continue that zeal and love for our God and family. Ecclesiastes 12:13.
The memorial will be held at 1724 Vowels Road, Cassidy on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Tea will be provided there afterwards.
