Lenard Dennis LaPointe

June 1st 1950 - June 29th 2013

After his strong fight with a neurological disease, Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsey, Len went to be with his brother Ronnie & his father Maurice.

Len was born in the Alberni Valley June 1, 1950 at the WCGH. He spent the majority of his youth in Victoria where he graduated from Vic High. At the age of 17 he met his then wife and had 3 beautiful children. After working a short while in the Plywoods he opened Value Vaccums and serviced the valley for over 25 years.

Len is survived by his children Nicole(Troy), Michelle(Bob), Lance(Trina).

His mother Katherina, sister Rubie, nephews Robert and Roger and his grandchildren who he loved dearly.

A heart felt thank you to the many people who helped along this journey.

Mostly to the amazing devoted staff @ Rainbow Gardens Tsawaauus. The comfort and care they provided was so appreciated by not only him but our family.

In Leu of flowers, donations can be made to Rainbow Gardens.

Service will be held Friday July 5th 1:00pm at the Chapel of Memories with a celebration of life to follow at the Rugby Clubhouse from 2:30-5:30pm.

He had a passion for music and loved to play his guitar and sing. Right until his final days he played.
