Eckert, Luella Pearl passed away in Port Alberni on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 90. Predeceased by husband Walter, Luella is survived by her brother Arthur Thompson (Joan); nieces and nephews Bev Isbell, Todd Thompson (Kathy), Kevin Dover (Lori), John Thompson and Maria Gieni (Dave); as well as many other extended family and friends.
A Private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff for the care and compassion extended to Luella during her stays in Fir Park Village and West Coast General Hospital. Also, many thanks to Luella's church community for all their support and love during Luella's time here with us.
