Miriam Brewer passed away on February 19, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by sister Beth and brother Bill. Miriam is survived by children Edward, Shirley, Debbie (Stan), Susan; granddaughter Desiree; and 4 great grand children; 2 sisters and 2 brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born and raised in the Muskoka Lake district of Ontario, Miriam lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Her final years were spent on Vancouver Island close to family. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and unconditional love. She was a wonderful cook and was well known for her Christmas baking which she gifted to family and friends. Miriam enjoyed her camping trips, reading, knitting, crafts and playing cards. A Family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
