Born in Schio, Italy, on July 2, 1941, Maria was a devoted wife, mother, Nonna, and bisnonna whose love and strength shaped the lives of all who knew her.
Maria was predeceased by her parents, Duilio and Rosita, and her brother Miro.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Giuseppe; her brother Moreno (Terry); sister-in-law Yvonne; nieces and nephews; her children Cristina (Matt), Oriano (Cristina); grandchildren Chad (Jenna), Cody (Carly), Colin, Cory (Amber), Luca, and Matteo; great grand children Daxton, Bodhi, Echo, and Aura.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Fir Park for their compassionate care and support during Maria's two years living with dementia.
Her gentle presence, her wisdom, and the Italian traditions she carried from her Italian roots will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
