Michael Robert Henry

Michael is predeceased by his father Pat Henry; grandparents: Clint and May Peel, Bill Henry and May Copeland.

Survived by his mother; Judy Henry, brother Dean (Gloria); nephew, Hilo Henry as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a group of wonderful supportive friends.

Michael was raised in Port Alberni, attended Wood and Klitsa Schools and ADSS. After graduation he attended BCIT and enjoyed a brief career as a draftsman.

Michael met adversity with much courage, never complaining, continuing to participate in life as best he could. He was loved and admired by not only his family and friends but others he met whose lives he touched on this journey. He was a kind, compassionate man and will be missed.

A Celebration of Micheal’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Jericho Road Church, 5100 Tebo Avenue, Port Alberni, BC with the Reverend John Cox officiating. Stories and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.chapelofmemories.ca
