Peter was a great lover of sports, Track and Field his best when he beat Harry Jerome at the Centennial Games. Coached Basketball for over 30 years. As a young man he worked for BC Airlines, also later worked as a special constable in the RCMP and eventually ran his own trucking business. Loved his train hobby and loved his family, dogs and friends.
Predeceased by parents Edith Frederika and Heinrick Edward Beyer, family in Denmark, Father and Mother-in-Law Doug and Louise Stone.
Survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 63 years Faye (Stone) Beyer, son Peter (Nicole), Rebecca (Cliff), Rylan, grandsons Tyson (Brooklyn) Joshua, daughter Kathleen (Joe), grandson Joseph (Danielle) granddaughter Sarah (Michael) GG Niela Mila and extended family members and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer.
