He found joy in sports including hockey, baseball, skiing, and spending time with his family at their peaceful cabin on Horne Lake, where he created countless memories with family and friends. His interest in others and eagerness to share with people will be remembered by all who knew him. In retirement, the Bulldogs kept him engaged in the community and he was often seen in the rink operating the goal horn with Rob Wager.
