Ruby Margaret Savard

Ruby was born in Port Alberni on October 12, 1948 and passed away with her family by her side on April 2, 2024.

Ruby was an avid cheerleader for all of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids sports games. You could find her at the arena, the ball field or soccer field cheering them on. She travelled far and wide as well to watch and support them through the years and thoroughly enjoyed the road trips. If you were lucky you would find her enjoying her favourite passtime at the Casino with a smile on her face and cash in her hand. She was an easy person to get to know, and could chat with anyone. She was a great listener, and her door was always open with a pot of coffee ready to go.

Ruby is predeceased by her parents, Henrietta and Wallace Graham and her brother Robert Graham.

She is survived by her husband Tom, children Raymond(Cindy), Andre (Leanne), Teresa (Jim) along with her grandchildren, Logan, Taylor, Nicolette, Alyssa, Jessica, Brittney, Kirstyn, James, Ryan, and great grandsons Cooper, Cohen and Dylan, also by her sister Lyn (Otto) along with many other extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be planning a small gathering at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association are greatly appreciated.
