

She is predeceased by her husband Albert Jasken and her parents George and Peggy Trotter.
She is survived by her loving family, sisters Donna Walter and Barb Homan, son Terry (Carolyn) Jasken, daughter Karen (Sean) Power, son Rick Jasken, and daughter Sharilyn Sterling.
Grandchildren Chandra, Jerad, Brad (Danelle), Shauna (Dylan), Raylene (Corey), Chris, Stephen, Mitch (Steph), Kennedy (Joe), Justin (Ashley), Kori (Alex), and Ryan.
Great grandchildren, Hayley, Kaylehb, Kaliyah, Cassidy, Kenzie, Kholtyn, Alex, Carter, Colton, Brooklyn, Kayden, Chanel, Lily, William, Tayla, Zachary, Rinn and Audrey. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, sister-in-law's and many friends.
Sherry and Al built their home, and raised their 4 kids in Port Alberni, out Beaver Creek on Thompson Rd. Over the years, Sherry worked at the Credit Union, the rural mail service and K-Mart. She spent years volunteering for the Hospital Aux and belonged to the sunshine club, lawn bowling club, and the red hats. She enjoyed entertaining, square dancing, watching sporting events and her travels to Saskatchewan for family reunions, the maritime provinces, and to London England, Reno and Yuma.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel of memories. 4005 6th Ave, Port Alberni, B.C. on Sat, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 am. Donations may be made to Ty Watson house, Port Alberni.
