Predeceased by his daughter Rawinder K. Dhaliwal and sister Karnail K. Toor (husband Malkiat). He is survived by his beloved wife Partap Kaur; sons: Harjit Singh (wife Raj) and Taj Singh (wife Kuljit); grandchildren: Neeta Dhillon (husband Roop), Ram, Aman, Jas, Kelly and Navi; one brother Jagtar Singh (wife Rajinder) of Nanaimo, son-in-law Hakaam Singh Dhaliwal and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Sukhdev worked for many years at APD mill until his retirement at age 65. A hard working and devoted family man, he will be dearly missed by those who loved and knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue, with cremation to follow at the East Indian Crematorium. Prayers will be offered at the Khalsa Diwan Temple, 3558 12th Avenue immediately following the cremation.
