Theresa is predeceased by husband Harold (1993) and son Terry (2008). She is survived by son Malcolm; daughter Joanne (Laurie); daughter-in-law Bobbie; grandchildren, Dione, Dawn, Tammy, Nicola, Angela, James; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Theresa moved to Port Alberni in 1947. A typesetter by trade, she was hired at a newspaper when she was 15, then hired by Woodward’s initially as a typesetter. Quickly she became the “Woodward’s Bra Lady” and worked there for over 30 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Road, Port Alberni, BC with Father Peter Switzer officiating
