Tim was a long time resident of his cherished Alberni Valley he called home. He loved to walk the streets and everywhere he went it was readily apparent that everyone recognized Tim and would greet him with a smile or a hello. Although Tim’s family had all moved to other areas there was no other place that Tim would ever consider home.Over the years, Tim created friendships that would carry him through many difficult years, one of which was Scott & Royane Ware. Together, they’d shared many joys and assisted Tim through his occasional issues and health problems, remaining true friends to the end. Tim also loved the many visits from his oldest brother Tom and family which never seemed to last long enough. Each time they would visit, Tim took great pleasure in showing what he was doing on his beloved Toyota Pickup Truck and explaining what he planned to fix next.
Tim is predeceased by his father Alfred in 1981 and is survived by his Mother Ruth, Brothers, Tom (Annemarie), Jack, Byron and Scott (Royane), Sisters Evelyn and Pam. In addition, Tim has many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews that love him deeply.
A very special thanks to the caring doctors and staff that made Tim’s final years as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Your work and commitment has touched the hearts of us all.
No flowers please but donations can be made in Tim’s name to Echo Village, Port Alberni, BC, if you wish and will be greatly appreciated.
