

Predeceased by his wife Nancy and his parents Raymond and Louise, Wayne is survived by 4 children: Troy (Alyson), Christine, Kayla (Bryce Nemanishen) and Tammie Hubbard (Tom), one granddaughter Ashley, brothers Ken (Cathy) and Brian (Corinne) and his sister Connie Kindratski (Wayne) as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Wayne worked in the forest industry as an excavator operator working on road construction. He worked in and around Port Alberni until in 2005 when he decided to move to the Queen Charlotte Islands where he continued working until 3 years ago when he retired due to his health. Wayne always loved the outdoors working, fishing, hunting, etc and it was his love of the outdoors that drew him to the Charlotte’s.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church 4731 Burke Rd., with Fr. Stephen Paine officiating. Inurnment of Wayne’s cremated remains will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
