It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne James Turner, 77 years old born in Vancouver, BC May 22nd, 1945, announce his passing at Ty Watson House Thursday June 16th. Wayne was survived by his wife Paulette of 20 years. Son Rod(Alexis)(grandchildren Kelsy, Josh & great grandson Lexton) and daughter Darla (grandchildren Devin and Dylan). Step son’s Mike (Stacey) (grandchildren Seth and LJ) Mark (Kristi) (grandchildren Tucker, Percy & Sebastian).
Wayne was a Red Seal Sheet Metal Journeyman by trade, although there were no limitations on what this man could accomplish and with great skill. There seemed to be nothing he could not do and do with perfection.
Wayne was a lover of all animals and was very devoted to his two cats Tabby and Taz. (who miss him dearly)
Wayne and his wife Paulette followed their dream of living “off grid” and relocated to Julia Passage in Barkley Sound where they enjoyed 20 years of peace and outdoor living. The couple built their own beautiful float home with all amenities from top to bottom. It was this setting where his children and grandchildren were able to create powerful and long lasting memories. As well they met many friends who made lasting impacts in their lives. He will be sadly missed by all.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.chapelofmemories.ca for the Turner family.
