

Predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and one granddaughter. He is survived by his family, beloved wife Sheila, children: Karen Lenney, Sheryl Kraeling (Chris), Christopher Lenney, and granddaughter/adopted daughter Jessica Lenney (Daryl Michno) as well as 2 other grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Billy was proud to have served with the Kings Royal Rifle Corp during WWII and taking part in the D-Day invasion. He was always active and physically fit. He boxed and weight lifted and also taught both. He also loved the outdoors, particularly working in his garden. He will be remembered for his love of music and his unique sense of humour.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Chapel Of Memories, 4005-6th Avenue with Father Stephen Paine officiating. Inurnment of Billy’s cremated remains will take place following the service in Greenwood Cemetery’s Field of Honour.
