Bill passed suddenly at West Coast General Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 67 years of age, and is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Janice Richmond. Three daughters Louise Shepherd, Laura (Ron) Van Vliet, Rhonda Richmond (Jay). One son Shad Richmond and Daughter-in-law Kim Richmond.
Nine very loved grandchildren, Morgan, Shayleen, Connor, Nick, Cameron, Bradly, Carmen, Collin and Jacob.
He also leaves sisters Eleanor (Norm) Loiselle, Anne (Jack) Parks, Eileen (Ian) Stewart. Predeceased by youngest sister Doreen Bell.
Our family would like to say thank you so very much for all the support we have received from our wonderful friends and family members.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and doctors involved in Bill’s care.
A celebration of Bill’s Life will be held Sunday, April 3rd, starting at 1:00pm at the Echo Community Centre 4255 Wallace Street, Port Alberni.
