Born in Arcadia, Florida, February 14, 1945. Clifford grew up on Buck Key, Florida and was a lifelong commercial fisherman. He was in the Fourth Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. Clifford served two tours in the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart Medal.
He will be remembered for his strength, being a hard-working man, and his dedication to the Lord and his family. Clifford was a proud American who was respected for his integrity and known for his unique sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Susie (Barnhill) Addison. Children, Dawn Marie Davis (Chad), Bobbie Lynne Dixon (Jimmy), Ashley Brooke Small (Kendric). Grandchildren, Raegan Marie Payne, Rylee Hope Dixon, Jordan Cayden Small, James Wesley Dixon, Jr., and Kason James Small. His brother, David Addison and his 2 sisters, Rita Champagne and Reba (Steve) Fox.
Clifford was predeceased by parents Hazel and Tommy Addison, mother and father in-law Alfred and Bobbie Barnhill, sister, Laverne Gardinier, and sons Claude and Clifford Addison Jr.
The graveside service will be held at Indian Springs Cemetery, Punta Gorda, Florida at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
