It is with heaviness of heart that I announce the passing of my mom, Tess Rudolph, on Saturday, August 17. She was feisty, sweet, funny, quick witted and definitely Jersey fresh! Although, her divine nature, her pure essence, was never more clearly evident than in her last days. Even though she was fighting for her life (and boy did she fight!) she was so giving of spirit, encouraging and grateful to all those that she encountered. A smile, her little hand raised inviting a loving connection, was her treasure to share. She mustered all her strength to tell a friend, or anyone who happened to be in her hospital room, how beautiful they were, how special, how grateful she was to have them near. I am at the same time both heartbroken and humbled to be witness to this most sacred exchange of gifts. She spent most of her days in prayer and if you are reading this she has probably prayed for you!
My sincere thanks to all those who visited her, prayed for her, and who supported me through these past few months of her battle. Actually, I want to thank you all for your support over the last seven years as I cared for both my parents.
I invite you to our home on Sunday, August 25, at 4 p.m., for a celebration in remembrance of this special lady. All are welcome to join us on Monday, August 26, at 11 a.m., for her celebration mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Port Charlotte. Tess will then be interred at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. that same day.
God bless you, loved ones!
Nancy
To Mom:
Look For Me In Rainbows
Time for me to go now, I won’t say goodbye.
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new, just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Time for me to leave you, I won’t say goodbye.
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.
In the evening sunset, when all the world is through, just look for me and love me, and I’ll be close to you.
It won’t be forever, the day will come and then my loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.
Time for us to part now, we won’t say goodbye.
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment, and all your whole life through.
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Just wish me to be near you, and I’ll be there with you.

Love, Patricia
She loved Elvis, baseball, her daughters, and her grandkids. She was an exceptional woman who left a legacy of love and warmth. We're gonna miss her, but she lives on in our hearts and has imprinted herself into our personalities, and in this way is memorialized forever.
Love you Grandma,
Dustin
Our grandmother was kind, caring, and resilient. She was a role model of kindness and how to treat people. Grandma cherished her friends and family. She would pray for them, each one, daily. Her love of family was instilled in all of her grandchildren by her example. She was quick-witted and never forgot a story throughout her life, which she would love to tell. She was the sweetest woman alive, and made sure we all knew how proud she was of each and every one of us. She let us know how loved we were, and for that I am forever grateful.
Your favorite grandson,
Tyler
