Albert Iannarone of Englewood was born on November 20, 1931 in Inwood, NY. Albert was predeceased by his mother Genoeffa (nee Petrillo), father Guiseppe, brothers, Liberato, James, Carman, and sisters Rose Muzzillo and Carmella Muzzillo.
Albert served in the Army during the Korean War and retired from The Bank of New York as Vice President after 32 years in banking. He and his wife lived in East Meadow, NY until he retired in 1987, when they moved to Florida. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and playing golf. He was an avid sports fan and was known for his sharp wit and jitterbug. He was a past member and Finance Officer of Venice East Golf Association. He was a member of St. Raphael's Church in Englewood, FL.
He is survived by his devoted wife Lillian Iannarone (nee Mott) of 64 years, three children: Wayne Iannarone (wife Frances) of Ooltewah, TN, Darlene Lanfranconi of Valrico, FL, and Diana Iannarone of Stella, NC; three Grandchildren: Kevin Iannarone, Ashleigh Gardner (husband Todd), and Alex Lanfranconi; two Great Grandchildren, Vincent Iannarone and Finn Gardner; and Sister Josephine Raimondi (husband Michael).
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30 with funeral service starting at 1:30 pm at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood. Entombment will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens.
