Al graduated from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the Vice President of Prospect Steel and retired in 2019. Al was an avid golfer and belonged to several golf clubs during his life, most recently Pelican Pointe in Venice, Florida. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and riding in his golf cart with his beloved dog Joey. He was a devoted Detroit Lions and Tigers fan even after relocating to Florida. Al loved talking to people and his “buddies” in the neighborhood and golf club. Family was important to him, and he cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Jan, of 51 years, his daughter Shawn (Bill), son Bryan (Jennifer), and grandchildren Will, Lainey, and Samantha, sister Jackie, and brother John.
A memorial will take place in Michigan at a later date.
