He moved to the Englewood area in 1988 from Rochester, New York after he retired from Eastman Kodak as a Lab Technician.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Rochester and a veteran of British Merchant Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Christine King; his sisters, Elizabeth McKinnon, Alice Blain, Gertrude Charles Hulcoop and Frances Savage all of Ontario, Canada; his nieces and nephews, Vanda Dennis Bartlett, Marlene Jerry Brown, Valarie Bart Vos, Susan Drean, Anne Blain, Michael LeAnn Savage and Stephen Wanda Hulcoop.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel.
