Ann Marilyn Buberger

Ann Marilyn Christiansen Buberger 68, Passed away Peacefully on Tuesday September 4, 2012 in Port Charlotte Fl. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Arthur T. Christiansen Sr. and Margaret McQuade Christiansen, and her 2Nd oldest son Francis Daniel Buberger. Ann was born in Queens, NY, and grew up in Brooklyn with her brother "Chris" Arthur T. Christiansen Jr. She graduated from St Cecelia's School and St Stanislaus Kostka Church before attending secretarial school, where she studied and then went to work on Wall Street in NYC for Gregory and Sons. Ann held an executive management position at Atlas Trading Corporation in New York and finally retired from over ten years of service to Target as operator and guest assistant in their Port Charlotte Store. Ann married Edward J. Buberger on October 12, 1963 (divorced 1996) and together they had two sons and two daughters, before moving to Coram Long Island NY where their youngest son was born then the family moved to Port Charlotte FL in 1987. Ann has always had a love of life. A warm friendly woman who would help you if she could, or hug you if you needed one, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren, and it showed in everyway. Ann had spirit, warmth, and humor, and her love will be carried on by her children. Ann's biggest and happiest times were entertaining family and friends with extravagant meals making every day a holiday and a reason to share love. Her talent in the kitchen was immeasurable and her passion for her family unending. The warmth she has expressed has touched and will continue to touch all of those who knew here especially her family and her children, Edward John Buberger Jr., Kerrie Ann Buberger Fancher, Lynn Marie Buberger Rokes (Mark) and Robert Francis Buberger (Teather). Grandchildren Lauren Phelan Buberger, Michael Francis Fancher, Tyler Corly Fancher, Mark Frederick Rokes, Steven John Rokes, Sean Frank Rokes, McKenzie Lynn Buberger and Savanna Lee Buberger. Great Grandchildren Colton Michael Madeline Maureen Fancher. Her loving memory is left to cherish by her brother Arthur T. Christiansen "Chris"and sister in law Frances., And Ann's feline friend her loyal companion Curry. A Chapel services wil be held on Saturday September 15, 2012 at 5:00PM from Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Boulevard.
