Anne C. Mitchell, 87, of Port Charlotte went Home early Saturday morning, November 19th. Anne, previously of New York City, was a devoted daughter, steadfast sister, doting aunt and zealous friend. Her legacy continues in the lives of her nieces and nephews of whom she inspired to always be independent, thoughtful, and attentive.
She is survived by a loving sister, Mary Bowman, two brothers, Thomas (Jerry) Mitchell of Port Charlotte, and James Mitchell of Portland, Oregon. Another brother, Edward, is deceased.
Anne worked for SunTrust in Port Charlotte after a long career at All State Automobile Leasing Company, and Nabisco in New York.
Anne moved to Florida in 1984 with her mother, the deceased Elizabeth Mitchell.
