

Arthur Erwin Wills, 91, of Venice, FL and Lake George, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at his Venice home.
He was born December 2, 1925 in Whitehall, NY. Arthur enlisted in the Navy in 1944 and proudly served our country for 3 years during WWII.
He was deployed to Okinawa, Japan, and trained as an electrician. After the service, he began his career at New York Telephone as a lineman and retired
as a supervisor after 40 years. Arthur had a fascination with all types of trains, enjoyed traveling, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Doris Wills of Venice, FL, son John Wills of Saratoga, NY, daughters and their husbands, Kathleen & Robert Wright, of Glens Falls, NY, and Terri & Calvin McKernon, of Argyle, NY, step-son and wife Gregory & Janice Vrakatitsis, of Epsom, NH, and step-daughter Anna Wagenseil and companion Luis Blanes, of Englewood, FL. Grandchildren Sean & Daniel McKernon, Adam & Erin Prevost, Shayla West, Courtney Mogavero, Brett Wills, Charles, Robert, & Kathryne Wagenseil, Kerry & Michael Vrakatitsis, Kim Hernandez and Karen Culasso, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 12, 2016 at the Venice-Nokomis United Methodist Church, 208 Palm Ave, Nokomis, FL 34275.
