She was a proud graduate of Heuvelton Central High School, Class of 1954.
Barbara worked many years in the restaurant business in Syracuse, New York. Later in life after moving to North Port, FL, she became a property manager and later became a home healthcare aide where her kindness shone brightly.
She was a devoted member and volunteer of the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
Barbara is survived by her loving son, David Momper of Port Charlotte, FL, and her daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Aronovitz of Wynnewood, PA, and one grandchild, Max Aronovitz. She was graced by the companionship of her beloved dog, Harley, who preceded her in death, as did her daughter, Teresa Momper.
As we bid farewell to Barbara Ann Momper, we celebrate her life with a memorial mass that will take place at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church of Port Charlotte on Fri, April 19 at 11 AM. Her final resting place will be in the church's memorial garden.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Barbara Ann Momper to the American Cancer Society of South Florida or Dementia Society of America.
