Barbara L. Roberts, 71, of Port Charlotte, FL died June 9, 2008. She was born November 6, 1936 in Key West, FL and moved to this area 25 years ago from Miami. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the US Air Force, retiring in 1998. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the St James Episcopal Church, a member of the Moose Lodge and had enjoyed being an Avon representative.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Roberts; children, Karen Delaney, Edward Roberts and Vivian Nieves; grandchildren, Ralph "Taylor" King, III, John Michael Cannon, Ashley, Eddie and Matthew Roberts, Jose A. and Mario B. Hernandez and Erica E. Nieves; a brother, Joseph Ladd.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm, Friday June 13, 2008 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Pt Charlotte. The Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev Cesar Olivero officiating.
