Barry Edward Bragg, 61 of Port Charlotte, Florida, died Sunday, March 28th at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. He was born June 10th, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in nearby Quincy, Massachusetts. The son of Chester and Jean Bragg, Barry was a veteran of the U. S. Marines having served in the Vietnam War. He would later retire from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service.
Barry had been a resident of Sarasota County for the past 17 years, and was a very active member in the antique car community. He is survived by his loving wife Debra, mother Jean, brother Donald, sister Crystal, and two son's David and Anthony. A celebration is planned for Tuesday, April 6th at Patriots Park in Venice, Florida at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Southwest Florida Honor Flight P.O Box 494488, Port Charlotte, Florida 33949.
