

Beatrice "Bea" Alberta Raybuck Carter, 82, a 40 year resident of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away August 5, 2013 with family by her side. She was born January 29, 1931 to Glenn and Anne Raybuck in Beaver Falls, PA and spent her formative years there.
Beatrice was a Navy veteran and served as a Nurse and had earned a B.S. in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and Administrator, and retired from the Florida State Hospital system. After retirement, she continued nursing through home healthcare.
She is also survived by her husband of 25 years, Jack Carter; her four children and step-son, Joseph Calvin Gissendaner, III, Sabrina (Edward) Gissendaner Wotitzky, Colette Gissendaner Davis, Tanise Gissendaner Montgomery and Kelly Carter; five grandchildren; Alicen (Joshua) Hatton Rhodes, Jacob Wotitzky, Hannah Wotitzky, Anna (Jared) Davis Monroe and Beverly Early Davis, IV; two great grandchildren; Jackson Allen Rhodes and Madison Grace Monroe; siblings, Eugene Raybuck of Atlanta, GA and Jane (Bill) Parkyn of Franklin, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Raybuck.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday August 17 at the Indian Springs Cemetery in Punta Gorda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Suncoast Humane Society as Beatrice loved animals and the support of their care.
