Brenda Denney, a cherished mother, sister, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at the age of 71, in Punta Gorda, Florida. Born on August 25, 1954, in Williamson, West Virginia, Brenda's life was one marked by dedication and joy.
She complete an Associate degree in Business and led a fulfilling career. Brenda loved golfing, boating, traveling, attending sporting events, and embarking on cruises that spanned the seas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer Muncy and Mamie Chaffin.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Steve New (Angie), Jason New, and Beverly New. Brenda's siblings, Haven Muncy (Therese), Judy Johnson (Denny), Vanessa Boggs, and Tonyia Christian. Her significant other Jack Hanson and also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 1st at 301 W Henry St Punta Gorda, FL 33950 from 2pm to 4pm.
