Brian D. Harrington

Brian was born on August 5, 1951 in St Albans, NY, to Lewis and Helen Harrington. He was raised in Oceanside, NY. He graduated Oceanside HS in 1969 and married his high school sweetheart, Bette J. Weitzman in 1971. He was the owner of Woods Ave Deli in Oceanside, NY from 1979 to 1997. He moved to Englewood, Florida in 2000 and worked at TA Krebs Architect, Inc. as a draftsman and then in 2008 became a General Contractor and proudly started Skylar Construction Inc. He was inventive, creative and a perfectionist in all he did.

Brian is survived by his loving family, his wife, Bette Harrington; son, Derek Harrington, granddaughter Skylar of Englewood, FL; daughter, Tracy Borchick, her husband Michael and grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Mia and Kailey of Putnam Valley, NY; his sister, Laraine (Jack) Anderer; brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Harrington,Stephen (Elyse) Harrington, Jeff (Debby) Harrington, Terry Harrington, Lewis (Terri) Harrington, Leroy (Mary) Harrington; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Brian's life will be held Saturday December 9th , 2017 at Lemon Bay Funeral Home from 11am to 12 pm with Services to follow.
