Carol K. Boykin, 70, of Venice, FL passed away on April 30, 2012 in Venice, FL. She was born on September 10, 1941 in Alexandria, VA. She graduated high school from F.C. Hammond and attended Richard Bland College.
She was survived by her mother, Ruth Ohl Kersey of Richmond, VA; her two sons, Jeffrey Scott Boykin of Venice, FL and Christopher Edward Boykin of Venice, FL; her daughter, Jill Suzanne Howell (Jason) of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Alyxandrea Hope Boykin, Natalie Suzanne Howell, Nicholas Moore Howell, and Davis Eben Howell; her sister, Phyllis Leite of Richmond, VA.
Carol Boykin was a wonderful mom and grandmother. She always considered that role her highest privilege, honor and blessing. She was a joy to all those around her and brought a smile to anyone's face with her bubbly spirit. We will always cherish her sweet, cute little ways and sayings. We love you, Mom!
