Carol Ann Burns, 55, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away April 8, 2012. She was born November 14, 1956 in Miami, FL and grew up in Sebring, FL, graduating from Avon Park High School, the class of 1974. She moved to this area in 1999 from Ft Myers, FL. After over twenty years of service, Carol retired as a Price Coordinator from Publix Super Markets, on March 15, 2012. She was a member of the Punta Gorda Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Burns of Punta Gorda, FL; sons, Jason Martin of Ft Myers, FL and Michael (Susan) Martin of Perry, GA; grandchildren, Preston, Taryn, Hayden, Luke and Jackson; her sisters, Kathy (Tom) Brown of Anchorage, Alaska and Marilyn (Adam) Chichilla of Naples, FL; brothers, Bill (Josi) Moroney of Sebring, FL; Pat (Ethel) Moroney of Sebring, FL and TJ (Debbie) Moroney of Tallahassee, FL.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2012 at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda with the Pastor Kelvin B. Collins, Sr officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice at tidewell.org.
