Carol L. Kelly, 78, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at her home. She was born on July 10, 1934 in Ojus, FL to William and Madeline Walls. She spent her formative years near North Manchester, IN attending Chester School. She lived in St. Louis, MO for 15 years before moving to Punta Gorda, FL. She was employed by the Waffle House for many years and also Wal-Mart. She enjoyed learning to use the computer later in life which gave her a lot of enjoyment. She played Internet Bingo each evening to keep in touch with her online friends. God Bless her soul.
She is survived by sons, John Stacey of St. Louis, MO and James Kelly of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Hiers of Fairmount, IN, aunts, nieces, nephews as well as many cousins. She was pre deceased by her daughter, Carol Sue Kelly, two brothers, Gilbert and Joe Walls and her parents.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Golden Corral in Punta Gorda. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Carol to a charity of your choice.
