CAROL LOCKETT, 56 of Placida, FL died April 4, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 11, 1951 in Milford, Mass. Carol was a broker/owner of Gasparilla Properties, Inc in Boca Grande. She also was the current vice president of the Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Emma Chupka, her brother, William J. Chupka, sister in law, Deborah Chupka, niece, Nicole Chupka and many other nieces, cousins and friends. She was pre-deceased by her nephew, William J. Chupka, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Boca Grande United Methodist Church, 300 Gilchrist Ave. You may express your condolences to the family at, lemonbayfh.com.
